[KYRIAKOS] Memory 02
Memory: Certainly, more will rise from hell...
Game: Second princess game
Day: 8

So this memory is basically a lot of nightow-style fight scenes which means EVERYTHING IS HARD AS BALLS TO FOLLOW. As such I will attempt to translate the nightow-ese as well as I can.
This memory takes place on a huge-ass grounded spaceship. It begins with a super brief glimpse of Vash as Wolfwood is falling amidst a bunch of rubble, as the floor beneath him was smashed from underneath at the end of the previous memory by the big guy (Gray the Ninelives) that he's now falling towards. Wolfwood is flashing back to a bunch of moments with Vash and getting pissed as hell, but those are all memories he doesn't have yet so in this memory it just feels like INDIGNANT RAGE AND SURVIVAL INSTINCT.
Then the fight proper begins; I think the first few pages are self-explanatory (his cross is a giant machine gun/missile launcher, ftr). After skipping some Vash stuff, more fighting happens!! Except after shooting up one of Ninelives' hands they are now apparently giant wrecking balls that also shoot missiles or something.
They exchange fire until Ninelives throws one of the wrecking balls off to free his hand and pulls a crazy gymnast move, which effectively puts him right on top of Wolfwood. Despite Wolfwood shooting him in the everything 9874398 times, he keeps on going and punches Wolfwood dead on with his wrecking ball hand, cracking a number of his ribs. THEN he fires off a projectile, which Wolfwood JUST BARELY MANAGES TO DODGE which getting blown aside by the ensuing explosion. He then pulls a ridiculously BAMF move in the form waiting for the split second in which Ninelives fires another projectile; using a pistol he shoots straight through the center of it, causing it to explode and take a goof chunk of Ninelives' hand with it.
BUT HE'S STILL NOT DOWN, and as Ninelives lunges for him he shuts the airlock(?) door which snaps off what's left of Ninelives' arm.
SO THAT'S THE SUMMARY or at least mainly covering the points that might be hard to follow visually, I hope.
As for what Wolfwood gets out of this memory, NOT A WHOLE LOT OF CONTEXT HERE but it sure does imply that he, uh, is not just a traveling priest. It also shows the true nature of his cross as a weapon, and wow he sure can hold his own against a giant ass freaky monster guy thing??? Also the freaky monster guy thing sure was calling him traitor a lot ("betrayed" in the scanlation), which means nothing to him at this point and really why would he be in cahoots with this goliath.
Also, fucking ow.
