[KYRIAKOS] Memory 03
Memory: The guy's an insurance agent. Be careful.
Game: Setting-expanding event
Day: 14
Other shards viewed: TBD
Reference: Volume 1 (Maximum), chapter 3 pg 17-20 and 27-29 (Here to here)
Note: Wolfwood's name has been blanked out up until now, but as of this memory that is no longer the case.
Summary: so Wolfwood's on the street somewhere at this point, and it starts with Vash being blown out of his second story hotel room by a hitman and landing on some random woman's car. The hitman proceeds to fire at him despite the civilians in the way, to which Vash responds by using his body to shield her from bullet rain instead of. y'know, dodging. At which point Wolfwood steps in and fires off some machine gun rounds from the Punisher at the hitman to chase him off and make sure Vash isn't dead etc
Vash gets taken to the hospital offscreen here, probably by Wolfwood, and the hitman is brought in as well with his face torn up (due to the Insurance Girls Not Appearing In This Memory). Vash is all DON'T DO ANYTHING FUNNY WOLFWOOD and he's like SURE, SURE 8) and then proceeds to go happily pour tobasco sauce on the guy's face.
Stuff: Short and sweet, but also the first time Wolfwood has legit seen Vash (technically). Before now he only knew Vash was some wanted douchebag guy and actually remembered an imposter of him (though he felt like it wasn't Vash in the memory), and he caught a glimpse of him in his previous memory and just felt a lot of RAGE AND CONFLICTED FEELINGS about him and. Now here he is, throwing himself in front of bullets to save some random person and being an idiot at the same time. So his impression of Vash at this time is a bit ??? because on the one hand Vash put himself in serious danger to save someone's life and he's apparently a friend, but on the other, all those conflicted feelings from that other memory????
That aside, then there's the tobasco sauce incident. It was petty, sure, but hey it felt satisfying and he sure wouldn't mind doing something like that to whoever's been fucking with his team. 8)
Also it's the first time he's heard his name since it was always blocked before- he already knows his first name is Nicholas from Livio, so Wolfwood must be his last name. Hooray connections!
+100 Vash is a friend but is confusing but apparently a good guy despite the bounty on his head??? but also pisses me off somehow???????
+80 being vindictive is okay if the other guy is an asshole who fucks with my friends
+50 wondering what the heck is going on half the time in my memories anyway
