My current roster is Pound/Wolfwood and Minotaur/Bass at Kyriakos, and Pinocchio/Jiro at Aather! And of course you can ask me things about previous characters/other stuff too.

Okay they could totes be friends if they spoke more, we need to thread more OKOK. He found Ed easy to understand and talk to and the way he described death in games made plenty of sense to him, and while he's starting to think of games a little differently (and dying sucks, he's done it twice already) he still feels like tempdeath is Not As Bad As People Make It Out To Be. It probably wouldn't take much more for him to consider Ed a friend. Well. In his Bass-y way.

At first Pound was kinda (unsure) about star since. she's a weirdo. But she was a nice enough girl, and then shitty stuff happened and she was one of the few people who went around to give stuff to other teams and basically try to help others out, and his respect for her shot up pretty quickly- along with his concern for her because HE RECOGNIZES SELF-DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOR WHEN HE SEES IT. And now he's even more concerned for her since all that shit that happened in games he wasn't in/wasn't here for and then traumaprom and lol
So as it is he cares about and respects her and appreciates the way she looks out for others, yet there's still this dissonance between them because he's trying to watch out for her and get her to talk about Things while also keeping her at arm's length when it comes to his own issues and feelings. On some level he realizes maybe that isn't really fair and he should try treating her more as a friend than as a charge and letting her in a little more- as it is she's the closest to doing that (not counting Vash since he had a leg up what with being a bro from back home). But it may take a little more pushing for that to happen.

Okay well I'm assuming the general gist of things are the same as the last time I relationship rambled. Except now they've had their date and more death and trauma and drinking and lol.
He's sort of going on like nothing has changed, but he feels closer to Vash now than before. Going into that trauma game one of his first thoughts was 'shit this kind of game will fuck with Vash' buuut he didn't get the chance to worry about that for long since lol. And knowing that Vash tried to go the suicide route, with other people even, is... not entirely surprising, but he's also kind of bothered about it since he did a similar thing in traumaprom. He knows he doesn't want to suicide either but he kind of wishes he'd take the try and survive option in that case???
On the date & drinking & dancing etc. end of things, he's still tsun as ever but he is kinda accepting that he does enjoy spending time with Vash, even if. a lot of that time is spent yelling or arguing or whatnot. And it is true that he wants to be a friend Vash can be proud of (though there's more to Who He Wants To Be than just that, it just sounded like the best summation while drunk). So he... tries hard... to not be a total broody jerk around him, but it's hard not to be a broody jerk when you're a broody jerk. There is the possibility he has some of The Gay for Vash (???), but he's not quite equipped to. translate those feelings properly just now.
Also as I said he's likely to deny/deny that he said a lot of the shit he said while drunk, SO.

THAT'S THE SPARKNOTES VERSION
Basically, Wolfwood's slowly going from being someone he hesitantly trusts to someone he confidently trusts (as he pointed out during drunken ramblings), but also someone he leans on emotionally, bit by bit. It's not just that he'll tell Wolfwood about his memories or what-have-you, but he'd actually talk to him about how he's feeling or coping, if it came up. THAT SAID, there are still obviously a lot of walls, and a lot of things Vash just doesn't want to share, mostly bc... his life is terrible! Why even dwell on it. Bummer. And he's kind of afraid Wolfwood will change his mind re: him being a monster at some point (lol wait for it), so he's trying to balance the line between "tell him enough that he doesn't wig out if he remembers" and "don't tell him this part at all." WHICH IS WHY HIS NON-HUMAN CRACKS ARE KIND OF A SORE SPOT. Paranoia.
He's also acutely aware of Wolfwood's jerkass antihero tendencies and also the fact that they may very well have been enemies back home, at least for a time. So he told Wolfwood it wouldn't be hard to become a friend he's proud of having, because - he isn't... really... just yet. He sees potential in Wolfwood and wants to help him pursue that potential (he thinks Wolfwood would be a LOT happier with himself and the universe at large if he did, and he just wants Wolfwood happy), but he also doesn't want to press too hard, lest Wolfwood balk and become difficult and then negative progress is made. But it's something perpetually on his mind and will probably come up repeatedly.
... also he remains mostly oblivious to The Gay outside of vaguely contemplating what constitutes dates and what doesn't, being pretty offended that Wolfwood said he wouldn't go on even a hypothetical one (RUDE??), and thinking it honestly wouldn't be so bad if that were a thing and what's the big deal, even.
So how's Wolfwood gonna react to the MOE BABY KNIVES shard?
no subject
lol I forgot he gave him that shard until you reminded me just now THANKS FOR... THAT...
first off you should tell me how much of moe baby knives it entails, do you have a link/writeup for it
no subject
i don't have a writeup by virtue of being lazy garbage, but it's basically this to page 22 or so.
no subject
and oh right moe baby knives
Since he doesn't really have any real memories of knives outside of mentions and some of the less hideous stuff he's done, this'll be kind of a... special... first time seeing him. And he may be reminded of Livio's memory of when they were kids, because he saved a girl in that memory but then in his other memories he's a cold blooded assassin trying to kill him HAHAHA HOW PEOPLE CHANGE... . ..
In otherwords it may actually successfully make him question his current view of knives, since he wants to believe Livio is still in there even when he's trying to murder him, so what if Knives is also not a douchebag deep down...?? Not that it'll last once he gets enough memories back, but good job vash u did the thing. for now. He may have some questions about the other stuff going on in that memory though, whether or not Vash can answer them. What with the ship and the pods and Rem etc
So say Wolfwood gets a memory of like, fifth moon back and starts getting jumpy/fearful around Vash. How would he react?
no subject
He wouldn't blame Wolfwood at all, it'd probably be more like a "well i anticipated this so i'm glad the other shoe finally dropped," but he'd also probably start putting considerable distance between them for the sake of Wolfwood's perceived comfort. Ultimately Wolfwood's comfort is more important to him than anything he personally gets out of their friendship mentally or emotionally, ssssoooo...
Avoid avoid avoid avoid
He would of course be quietly upset about it but he would Vash on as always. And probably clamp down on telling other people things, because if that's how the person he trusts most reacts to him, then lololo...
How the heck WILL Wolfwood deal with those fears/revelations, in light of the babysteps of progress they've been making on the trust and S-link front
no subject
It's hard to say until it happens, but if he were to remember that soon, it'd probably be sorta like that- he'd suddenly be more tense around Vash, but adamantly try not to let it show so it'd pretty much all be in body language. And he'd hate it, because he doesn't hate or resent Vash or anything?? But it may take him some time to shake off the feeling of witnessing that kind of insanely destructive power coming from one man.
But if (more like when) Vash picks up on that and starts avoiding him he'd get even MORE aggravated at himself over it and aggressively try to get over it, which may or may not involve
stalkingfollowing him around despite avoidance. Maybe he'll make him more food, idk. I imagine he'll be able to overcome it well enough, and maybe he'll even be okay around Vash when he gets featherblorting skills back??? WE'LL SEE. Though at this point it's really not the monstery stuff that bothers him at all so much as the IMMENSE GODLIKE POWER, since that's more like. Wow feeling tiny and insignificant and powerless next to this dumbass wearing a donut hoodie who could disintegrate me with a flick of his finger if he felt like it.Speaking of featherblort, how will Vash deal when he gets that skill(s) back?
no subject
Featherblort lmaooo, it... depends on the memories he gets back before he gets that skill. If he remembers like, basically any of volume 5, he'll probably quietly freak the fuck out and lock himself up for a while. SORRY, IF U NEED VASH THE STAMPEDE HE IS JUST NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE NEXT TWO DAYS. Buuut if he remembered some of the more positive ("positive") experiences, or at least being in more control, that will help him keep his cool a lot. I also decided to build in (some) level of conscious control with the skill, so it won't be like AWFUL POWER INCONTINENCE the way it was in volume 5, which will also help a lot.
Either way he'll probably be mildly cagey for a while and very reluctant to let on to anyone what's going on and live in constant fear of someone witnessing featherblorting \8D/
i want you to elaborate on that little unconscious The Gay For Vash tho bc hilarious
no subject
Well so, from the moment he realized he was an assassin sent after Vash he's been stubbornly trying to shove away from that part of who he is, right, which when you're a stubborn jackass also means aggressively friendshipping at Vash. Which isn't to say he's forcing himself to be his friend obviously, we've already elaborated on how they're dumb bros. But he's been trying to stick by him and live up to his expectations- taking his quests, confronting him after the age sticker thing, dancing with him, etc- but in doing so it became less about denying his memoryself and more because he earnestly does want to live up to his expectations?? So it's like, Vash's opinion of him has legit weight for him now. Like the way it would if you had a crush and they said something nice or negative about you. Except in this case it's triguns so those things might have to do with like, murder and morals I guess. THAT'S WHERE MOST OF THE GAY IS RN and it's part of why he's at least trying to be less of a debbie downer around Vash.
Also he's started to find Vash kind of attractive lol but clearly that's just manly men appreciating other manly men's manly appearances, duh. (the spikey hair is still dumb tho sry)
So how would Vash deal with learning about Ellie's world :'|
no subject
OK SO I'M THE LAST OF US BLIND, aside from obviously zombie apocalypse, and some stuff Jay has told me, but I can say with confidence bordering on certainty that he would cry. A lot. BECAUSE I MEAN - that's most of the human race being effectively exterminated and it's not like there's An Enemy to blame or anything, it's just... zombies... virus... thing
BIG FAT FUCKIN GHIBLI TEARS, and probably hug Ellie for good measure because lmfao GOD
Of course if he found out her blood is full of potential Miracle Cure that would be another thing, because that means there's a potential solution and maybe humanity in her world can get better!!!!! And then he stops lying awake at night thinking about a world that's not... even... his (Except that's a lie, he still will 8[)
tl;dr nobody fuckin tell Vash the Stampede about Ellie's world
TELL ME SOME STUFF you're stoked about doing for either of your losers, or stuff you're looking forward to, or stuff you're pipe dreaming about
no subject
LOOKING FORWARD TO TRAUMA MAYBE though depends on how that goes. Ellie is exciting because Pound might get to Joel at her laughingalonewithsalad.jpg. I mean I guess I'm always pipe dreaming about Vash and Pound figuring out how to be gay at each other. I'm not sure how my Bass plans will go since he hasn't managed to get a lot of CR but I may end up giving him a memory of himself closer to the present where he's pulling some Knives shit so he can be all ???. I'm hoping to, if not completely reform him, make him a little less murderous through kyriakos development and CR. His team ended up being pretty flippant about murder (and cannibalism) though so lol.
I would think of more stuff but I gotta get ready to go to work SO. same back at u
okay since I'm back from work and you haven't responded yet, MORE ELABORATION. I can sorta guess at what Nyssa's portion of the trauma game will be like, and regardless it's Nyssa again, so whatever happens there's a decent chance Pound may lose his temper over it which is part of what I'm excited about because he's. actually managed to stay relatively low-key lately. And I pipe dream about vash & wolfwood ~*~living the domestic life~*~ together because they never got to in canon gayly or otherwise. Why argue over murder when they could be arguing over whose turn it is to wash dishes
AND ALSO, waiting for the moment pound either decides to tell vash about the stuff he's been hiding or he finds out anyway. He's come close to spilling the beans himself (namely while drunk), but Dealing With His Own Problems Alone still manages to take priority over any friendship or gay feelings.

also how do pound and minotaur feel about kyr atm
no subject
So on one hand he's kinda instinctively like, it's a loli, must protect from harm and shit, but on the other it's like. Okay she seems pretty capable and doesn't shy away from danger and stuff??? So he's working on figuring out how to approach her, I guess would be one way to put it. But in general he thinks she's a good kid and considers her something of a friend.
As for how they feel about Kyr- Pound has mixed feelings about it, because obviously the trauma games are shit and they're kind of powerless against the whims of the Echoes. But he hates his own planet and aspects of the person he was more (he hasn't fully remembered the orphanage yet) and so as things are he'd rather be in Kyriakos than back there. But it's still kind of the lesser of two evils, though at the least he believes there may be a way to take out echoes like Nyssa down the line. But only if they can all work together, which is. Not going fantastically at the moment.
For Minotaur, he doesn't have a ton of feelings about it. He's from a canon full of bullshit and arbitrary world rules anyway, so grasping Kyr's premise and mechanics wasn't too troubling for him. And he feels that temporary death isn't a big deal since it's temporary, so trauma games aren't too traumatic for him either (though he has been having some feelings about them especially with "Haunt's" last game). Vanara hasn't won much since they arrived so he doesn't remember a lot about his world, and either way he's just in the mindset of 'goal: win memories, rebuild world' mainly because he wants to restore his creator.
Reverse re: relationship?

she does roll her eyes over him avoiding discussions of murdering Nyssa tho, since. not talking about it with her isn't going to make her not want to murder Nyssa dead but she thinks of him as a friend who probably just wants her to not leap into danger.
